The overwhelming negative criticism of president Biden’s abrupt and chaotic departure from Afghanistan has only reinforced the narrative that the current occupant of the White House might not be up to the job.

The fiasco in Kabul was only the latest Biden mismanagement. Until this week all the talk was about the turmoil over the delayed infrastructure bill. And that was a distraction from the worsening Covid-19 pandemic. It example seems Biden can’t get anything right.

It’s the least he can do. Biden was under great pressure to stay in Kabul until all Americans and refugees are evacuated:

President Joe Biden said Wednesday that he is committed to keeping U.S. troops in Afghanistan until every American is evacuated, even if that means maintaining a military presence there beyond his Aug. 31 deadline for withdrawal.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has been ranked the most partisan Democrat of the House of Representatives, according to a new study. The Squad member ranked №427 out of 437 lawmakers analyzed, according to the Bipartisan Index of the 116th Congress (2019–2020) from The Lugar Center in collaboration with Georgetown University. Other members of the group of progressive congresswomen also ranked low: Democratic Reps. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts ranked at №426, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota ranked at №424 and Rashida Tlaib ranked at №414, the study found.
